    • Single registration for 16+: $41.00 per ticket
    • Adult and Child 16 or under: $55.00 (for one adult and one child participant)
    • *PLEASE NOTE: Tickets do not include Zoo Admission. Anyone under 16 does need to be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Who is our facilitator?

Tacos! Tacos is a Lego Master here in Rhode Island! “Originally from New York and now
living in New England. Tacos’ career has been surrounded by children for over 20 years.
From working at a toy store to teaching pre-K, working with children has always been a
passion. Tacos went to school for engineering and has combined both their passions of

How long is the Workshop?

The workshop is 90 minutes. Starting out with a quick engineering lesson, building a
Lego challenge, and ending in a group clean up.

Can we take Legos home with us?

Please note that all Legos will remain at the Zoo at the conclusion of the workshop; this
workshop is designed to focus on building skills, creativity, and the experience of
designing together or the focus of this workshop is on learning new building techniques
and creative problem-solving. If you would like to purchase Roger Williams Park Legos,

Can we bring food?

You are welcome to bring in water. Please refrain from bringing in sugary drinks and
outside food into the workshop.

Can we explore the zoo?

You can explore the zoo with your zoo admission ticket. Please note that the workshop
fee does not include zoo admission. Zoo Admission tickets can be purchased here:

check your registration e-mail for arrival instructions for the workshop.

How do I explore the A Bugs World Exhibit?

A Bugs World Exhibit is open from April 11th -August 9th! See the outdoors like an insect
does, where blades of grass tower overhead, ants are the size of dogs, and butterflies
feel larger than life. A Bugs World Exhibit can be explored before or after your
workshop, tickets can be found here https://rwpzoo.ticketapp.org/portal/pages/tickets!
Or if you would like to purchase a ticket day of, you can go to the start of the A Bugs
World Exhibit and find the ticketing kiosk! A Visitor Services Team Member will be there
to help you with your purchase and start you on your Bug World journey!
 
Can I get a refund?
 
Refunds are only given if the zoo cancels the workshop. This workshop is rain or shine.
The workshop will be held in an indoor classroom. Please dress for the weather as our
classroom is across the zoo from the main entrance and is about an 10-15 minute walk.
 
What if I am late?

Please plan accordingly. Late arrivals will miss important information. Please note that
our Workshop will take place in our Education Center which is a 10-15 minute walk from
the main entrance.

Will we meet animals or go behind the scenes?

This program does not include animal encounters or behind the scenes components.
