Scout BSA Program at RWPZ!

Come explore the zoo and earn badge requirements towards the Conservation Award with a zoo educator. Through the Scout BSA Program, the scout will complete almost all requirements for the badge and have the course signed off by our very own Zoo Scout Badge Counselor! 

Bird Study: 

Continuing badge requirement: 

  • This course starts the badge requirement #5 “Observe and be able to identify 20 species of wild birds”. Your scout will need to complete field observations at home. 
  • Requirement #7: “Be able to identify 5 of the 20 species in your field notebook by song or call alone”. We will be starting this in our course but may need to be competed at home.  
  • Availability:
    • Sunday, November 2nd  from 11 AM-1 PM  
    • Saturday, December 6th  from 1 PM -3 PM 
  • Member Pricing: $36/per person (badge not included in cost)
  • Non-member Pricing: $40/per person (badge not included in cost)
