Join Roger Williams Park Zoo for a series of monthly, hour-long classes, designed for homeschool students. These drop-off classes start in October and run through May. Pre-registration is required.
Program Cost (8 week session): $136
Dates: Classes will be held the first Friday of the month from October- May, (10/2, 11/6, 12/4, 1/8, 2/5, 3/5, 4/3, 5/7)
4-5 year olds: Animal Exploration
6-8 year olds: Stripes and Rainbows: Colors and Patterns in the Animal World
9-12 year olds: Glitter and Glow: Colors and Patterns in the Animal World
13-16 year olds: Animal Optics
Program Cost (3 week session): $51
Animal Protection- Dive deeper into animal exploration with this three week mini series! Participants will explore groups of animals through stories, crafts, games, centers, and encounters with animal ambassadors.
November 4, 11 & 18: Teeth
Program Cost (Individual Classes): $17*
Nature Biomes- Join us as we dive into brand-new biome adventures! Each exciting session spotlights a different nature biomes, with hands-on activities, live animal encounters, and awesome actions that learners can take to help protect our plant. Come explore, discover, and make a difference-one wild creature at a time!
